If you want to save even more money, consider visiting South Luangwa during the green season when lodges offer cheaper rates. The green season is a wonderful time to go on safari, especially if you want to see wildlife offspring, lush green landscapes, and fewer tourists!

These lodges have been carefully selected for offering excellent safaris and for their superb locations. They offer a comfortable place to stay, good food and stunning views.

It’s a rustic camp, but don’t be fooled – all the safari tents are en-suite, have hot running showers, fans and great views.

A relaxed feel runs through the camp. Swim in the pool, soak in the views from the bar or play a little pool. This is a budget-friendly and cheerful option, a great place to relax with friends in between game drives. The Croc Valley Camp is full of fun atmosphere, perfect for those who will be thirsty for a beer after a drive.

Important Accommodation Information: Camping and Savanna tents have access to the public bathrooms while budget rooms have their own bathroom as they are not en-suite, whereas the safari tents all have bathrooms en-suite. The budget rooms have air con, as do tents 5 & 6 (which are slightly more up market than the rest, so do request availability for tents 5 & 6 when booking).
