This 7-night tour is a fantastic way to experience the wilderness of South Luangwa and the tranquillity of lake Malawi at great value! We would be happy to tweak this trip to suit your requirements.
Your guide will meet you at Lilongwe International Airport and transfer you to Kumbali Village in Lilongwe where you will stay for one night before proceeding to South Lungwa the following day. Kumbali Village provides rustic accommodation and is the ideal place to spend your first night in Malawi.
After a good night’s rest it is time to hit the road and head to South Luangwa. Your guide will transfer you to Croc Valley Camp, here you will spend the next three nights. Croc Valley Camp is set on the banks of the picturesque South Luangwa River. Set in the riverine forest the camp is deliberately inconspicuous as to retain the natural beauty of the surroundings and encourage wildlife to roam freely.
After a few nights exploring the Zambian wildlife it is time to cross the border back into Malawi and enjoy some time by the lake. The Funky Cichlid is a new and fun lodge located in Cape Maclear. At the lodge there is an abundance of activities you can do from kayaking to wakeboarding. If you don’t fancy exertion you can kick back on the beach or in a hammock and watch the world go by.
After 7 nights of adventure it is time to return home. Your guide will transfer you back to Lilongwe International Airport in good time for your flight.
