The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is situated in the southwestern corner of the world-renowned Kruger National Park and consists of 65 000 hectares (160 620 acres). It is the most prestigious game reserve in South Africa and is famous for incredible leopard sightings. Each of the five camps offers travellers a different experience. Three of five camps are part of the Relais & Chateaux group of elite properties, with the Private Granite Suites the pinnacle of the Londolozi portfolio.
Tree Camp and the Private Granite Suites don’t allow children under the age of 16 unless they are taken for exclusive use, whereas Pioneer Camp can be used for both families and couples. Varty Camp and Founders Camp are slightly larger and perfect for families and small groups. They accept children of six years and older.
River Lodge is the soul of Lion Sands and has been built on the banks of the Sabie River, positioned on a site with trees dating back 800 years.
