Arrive Livingstone International Airport, where our representative will meet you and connect you onto your short transfer to The Victoria Falls Hotel.

Arrive Lusaka International Airport, where our representative will meet you and connect you onto your short flight down into the Zambezi Valley. Enjoy spectacular views from the air as you fly over the hills bordering the Zambezi River. The flight takes just over 30 minutes. On arrival at Royal Airstrip, you will be transported to Chongwe River Camp, which really is one-of-a-kind. 

Chongwe will make sure your stay with us is a real home away from home – a place where you can unwind and switch off from the rest of the world. They offer an unmatched variety of activities. Day and night drives, boats cruises, walking safaris or you can experience their flagship canoeing which offers you the opportunity to view wildlife from a more natural perspective.

The Chongwe team will transfer you to Royal Airstrip to catch your flight to Lusaka. Our representative in Lusaka Airport, will meet you and you will be escorted to your connecting flight to Mfuwe, our gateway to the South Luangwa National Park. Enjoy spectacular views from the air as you fly into the South Luangwa Valley. This flight takes just over an hour. On arrival at Mfuwe Airport, you will be transported to either Nsolo/ Luwi/ Mchenja or Kakuli Bush Camps (approx transfer time of 2-4hrs, most of which is a game drive through the national park), where you can settle into your luxury home in the bush for the next 3 nights.

After breakfast, it’s time to hit the road and head to Lake Malawi, after a short flight to Lilongwe from Mfuwe your Malawian Style guide will transfer you by car to the lake. From Salima there is a boat transfer to the island which takes about 20 minutes. Blue Zebra Island Lodge is tucked away on Nankoma Island, a part of the Marelli Island archipelago. During your time on the island you will be able to enjoy drinks by the pool, soak in the sun on the beach, snorkel and discover the Blue Zebra Cichlids, and even play badminton. The Island is renowned for its dazzling array of bird life, you will find yourself on an un-spoilt island paradise, surrounded by nature and luxury.

After a good night sleep and a delicious breakfast it is time to head to magical Mumbo Island. Your guide will transfer you to Cape Maclear, which is about a 3-4hr drive, in time for your afternoon boat transfer to the island. Mumbo is based 10km off the Cape Maclear peninsula and takes 45 minutes by boat, or if you are feeling like an athlete feel free to kayak out to the island, which should take about 2hrs. Enjoy the next 3 days in paradise, make the most of the incredible snorkelling, crystal clear waters, fascinating birdlife, diverse flora and fauna, semi challenging walks and stunning sunsets. Make sure to hike up to Pod rock for a sundowner.

Early start and boat transfer back to Cape Maclear. Your guide will meet you in Cape Maclear and drive you back to Lilongwe International Airport.
